This incident caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
